OUR WOMEN(Exhibiton and Brand Identity Concept)
Statistics show that a woman is killed on average every 3 days in the UK...

For the past 10 years, MP Jess Phillips has read the names of women suspected of being killed by men on International Women’s Day, provided by the Femicide Census. But this year, she read out the names for the first time from the front benches as a Home Office Minister, with an assurance that tackling violence against women and girls is a top government priority.

The large amount of data on this topic inspired me to create a large scope that utilised the quantity to create meaningful work through book-binding, poster design, website design and conceptual ideation. 

Our Women is a brand identity and concept for an exhibition aimed to acknowledge and remember women who have been victims of femicide in the UK between 2015-2024. The Brand Identity/Exhibition includes 10 hand-made books, 10 posters, an hour long video, a website and a social media.
